ICTSI aims for net-zero emissions by 2050

INTERNATIONAL Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 by prioritizing responsible business practices and environmental stewardship in global trade.

"Our commitment to decarbonization targets marks an important step on our journey to becoming a more sustainable company. As part of this, we are actively implementing initiatives to maximize energy and resource efficiency, reduce carbon intensity, and lower emissions," Christian Gonzalez, ICTSI executive vice president, compliance officer and chief sustainability officer, said.ICTSI targets net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in its Scope 1 and 2 by 2050.
