TUGUEGARAO CITY: The Cagayan Provincial Veterinary (PVet) office has recorded more cases of African swine fever (ASF) in the towns of Alcala and Baggao.

According to the Cagayan Provincial Information Office (CPIO), data gathered by the PVet showed that the eight pigs that were buried in Centro Norte in Alcala town died due to the ASF disease. Four hog raisers in the same locality were affected.
