DIGITAL transactions continued to rise in 2023 based on Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) data, a result said to be due to increased adoption and focus on digitizing payment methods.
The value of transactions conducted via PESONet and InstaPay reached P12.9 trillion in 2023, nearly 30 percent higher than the previous year's P9.9 trillion.
