CAMP MELCHOR DELA CRUZ, Gamu, Isabela: An alleged member of the New People's Army (NPA) was killed in clashes with government forces in Sitio Laoc, Barangay Pateng, Gonzaga, Cagayan, and Barangay Naguilian, Sallapadan, Abra, on Friday, February 23.
Maj. Rigor Pamittan, 5th Infantry Division spokesman and civil affairs office chief, said that the suspected communist fighter has yet to be identified.
