First storm likely to hit PH in March, to be named 'Aghon'

MANILA, Philippines: The first storm would likely enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this March and would be named "Aghon," the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

Weather specialist Benison Estareja said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring light rains over Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.
