FILIPINO tennis ace Alex Eala and her French partner Estelle Cascino emerged as champions of the ITF W75 Open 3C de Seine et Marne held in Croissy-Beaubourg, France, on Saturday night, March 30 (Manila time).
Battling at the Comete de Seine et Marne de Tennis, Eala and Cascino staved off top seeds Maia Lumsden of Great Britain and Jessica Ponchet of France, 7-5, 7-6(4), in the final to seize the championship.
