Neophyte filmmakers share CinePanalo experience

The successful run of Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival, held from March 15 to 19 at Gateway Cineplex, not only represented the supermarket chain's first foray into bringing original films to the silver screen, it also marked the debut pieces of six first-time filmmakers.

Rafaela Abucejo from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Dizelle Masilungan from the University of Santo Tomas, Joshua Andrey Doce from Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology, Joanah Pearl Demonteverde from the University of the Philippines Visayas, Daniel Gil from Ateneo de Davao, and Jenievive Adame took their first steps into the world of filmmaking through Puregold's initiative.
