House to probe prices of goods

(UPDATE) THE House of Representatives will conduct a probe into the "disconnect" between the farmgate and retail prices of basic goods upon the resumption of session, Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez said.

Romualdez made the remark after a Tuesday meeting with representatives of producers, retailers and grocery stores, who denied making substantial price shifts.
