A "GHOST employee" problem at the Monetary Board (MB) is being addressed and officials are doing their "best so that it doesn't disrupt policymaking," a senior central banker said.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) official, who requested anonymity, confirmed reports that the offices of two Monetary Board members had been found have staffers who were being paid but were actually not working.
