SUBIC BAY, Zambales — The Department of Health (DoH) is hoping for a bigger allocation in the 2025 National Expenditure Program (NEP) so it could fund its infrastructure projects and benefits of health care workers.

The DoH budget under the General Appropriations Act is P241.1 billion, which includes allocations for the Health Facilities Enhancement Program and public health emergency benefits for health care workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
