MANILA, Philippines: The inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will bring scattered or isolated downpours and thunderstorms in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.

Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said that the ITCZ, the imaginary line where the air from the northern and southern hemispheres meet, is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
