ILOILO CITY — Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. convened town mayors in an emergency meeting to find ways to curb the increasing number of dengue cases in the province.
"We want to have a clear picture of where we are now and what we have so we can have a better idea on how to move forward," said Defensor, who met members of the Provincial Civil Defense Cluster and town mayors last week to develop a comprehensive strategy to combat the mosquito-borne disease.
