CARCAR CITY, Cebu — Cebu was rocked by a magnitude 5.1 earthquake on Sunday afternoon leading to the suspension of face-to-face classes and inspection of school buildings across the province on Monday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that the earthquake, which was felt in various parts of Cebu, Bohol and Leyte, occurred at 2:53 p.m. with its epicenter located 16 kilometers south of Poro, Camotes Islands.
