When Enrique Gil steps into the limelight this Christmas, it won't just be as the beloved actor fans have come to know over the years. Instead, he will once again take on the dual role of actor and producer in "Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital" — his official entry to the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and maiden collaboration with veteran filmmaker Dondon Monteverde and acclaimed horror maestro Erik Matti's Reality MM Studios.

"This film is special," Quen enthused at the kick-off of the production's promo blitz, "not just because it's a horror movie, which I love, but because we're doing something totally new in Philippine cinema."
