Japanese Ambassador Kazuya Endo attended the handover ceremony for the project for promoting digital birth registration of populations at risk of statelessness in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Jan. 28.
The event was attended by Hasim Guiamil, director of Programs and Operations Services at the Ministry of Social Services and Development of the BARMM, and Maria Ermina Valdeavilla-Gallardo, head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Philippines National Office.
