MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the House of Representatives, its secretary general, and the Senate to submit their respective comments on a petition filed by Vice President Sara Duterte seeking to nullify the fourth impeachment complaint lodged against her.
The petition for certiorari and prohibition is accompanied by an urgent plea for a temporary restraining order (TRO), arguing that the fourth impeachment complaint is unconstitutional.
