AMID global economic uncertainties, the Philippine economy saw a 5.6-percent gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2024.

The main drivers of GDP growth included remittances from overseas Filipino workers that totaled $38.3 billion, and information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) revenue, which accounted for $38 billion.
