ABS has granted Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) approval to ECO TLP's floating offshore wind platform, marking a key step toward scaling deepwater wind energy.
"In many parts of the world, floating offshore wind power will be essential in expanding renewable electricity generation to waters too deep for fixed-bottom projects," said Rob Langford, ABS vice president of global offshore renewables. "ABS is proud to work with innovative companies like ECO TLP Inc., which are designing structures to overcome challenges in renewable energy manufacturing, installation, and costs."
