THE newly inaugurated Tigtabon Community Port is set to enhance Zamboanga's fishing and seaweed farming industries by improving transport efficiency and market access.
The facility was officially turned over on March 22, 2025, in a ceremony led by Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon, Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Santiago, and Zamboanga City officials.
