CONTINUED uncertainties over US President Donald Trump's tariff moves and a shortened trading week could limit any upside for Philippine equities, analysts said.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi), which hit a two and a half-year low last Monday amid escalating trade war fears, managed to regain some ground by the end of the week by closing at 6,082.44. It was still 0.03 percent lower week-on-week, however, and extended a run of declines to over a month.
