MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) assured on Tuesday that all hospitals have been readied for any incidents, particularly for illnesses likely to be caused by the extreme heat, for the duration of the Holy Week break.

In a briefing in Malacañang, Health Secretary Ted Herbosa said the public was likely to suffer from heat-related distress, especially those who will flock to the beaches or embark on long road trips.
