In times of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), people hardly stop and reflect upon where their lives are headed. Let us pause for a while and try to answer this question: Is life a journey or a pilgrimage?
Last Holy Week, I was with 30 other people in the education field for a retreat. The retreat master gave us a set of questions to meditate on: Where am I in my journey? Am I just starting, or am I at the middle, or nearing the end? Who are the people who journey with me? What do I hope for to achieve in this journey?
