Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) president Al Panlilio said there's no "formal announcement" yet from FIBA (International Basketball Federation) regarding Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Justin Brownlee's status for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.

"Still awaiting FIBA formal advise," Panlilio told the Manila Times in a short reply, when asked about Brownlee's status.
