(UPDATE) MALABON City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval has gotten a fresh mandate for the second term, following her landslide victory in last Monday's midterm elections against incumbent Rep. Jaye Lacson-Noel.
The reelected mayor's running mate, incumbent Councilor Edward Nolasco, defeated his immediate contender, Barangay Longos chairman Angelika dela Cruz, a former actress, reaffirming the massive support of the local electorate for the Sandoval team.
