The Department of Tourism (DoT) on Wednesday said 22 tourism establishments in El Nido, Palawan, have been ordered closed for violations of environmental laws and city ordinances.
DoT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said the local government of El Nido saw the need to close these establishments for their supposedly irresponsible ways in their day-to-day operations.
