BACOLOD CITY: The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Western Visayas is waiting for guidelines on what to do with the 22 barangay (villages) in the region that still do not have a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman, seven months after the elections.
Records show that Iloilo province has the highest number of villages without an SK chairman with 11, while Negros Occidental and Iloilo City each have two villages without an SK head.
