EIGHT people were killed when at least two buildings collapsed in Pampanga after a 6.1-magnitude quake struck Luzon, including Metro Manila on Monday, driving terrified people into the streets.

Three bodies have been pulled out of a four-story building in the town of Porac, while a woman and her grandchild were crushed to death in the town of Lubao, Pampanga province Gov. Lilia Pineda said in a television interview.
