NINE Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) cadets were recommended for dismissal for allegedly mauling six of their upperclassmen after their graduation rites in March.

"It's still confidential because it is not yet final. They can still file for a motion of reconsideration and appeal for a remedy," Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol, director of the PNPA, said in a text message to The Manila Times in Filipino.
