The staging of the 3rd Entertainment Editors’ Choice for Movies or The Eddys just last month at the landmark New Frontier Theater seemed like a “coming home” of sorts.
To those that still remember, the heyday of Philippine cinema, New Frontier Theater (NFT) was the choice destination to mount glamorous movie premieres that drew glitzy celebrity appearances to this part of the metropolis. And the stand-alone theater definitely provided the perfect venue for the country’s biggest stars with its canopied drop-off, expansive lobby and neatly tucked mezzanine area for VIP guests.
