I WAS there in Singapore in May last year, when President Donald Trump of the United States met Chairman Kim Jong Un of North Korea in a historic summit. On the request of the many international media outlets which had also essentially camped out in Singapore, I made myself available for interviews and commentaries on the summit. It was a hectic but well-organized schedule not only for the two leaders, but for all of us who “covered” the unprecedented event as well.
