A non-binding agreement for the likely development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities and natural gas power plants in the country has been signed by the Philippine National Oil Co. (PNOC) and Lloyds Energy Group.

In a statement posted on its website, the state-run corporation said the memorandum of understanding signed with the Dubai-based company will explore cooperative ways to develop LNG facilities and natural gas generation plants and other related activities in Limay, Bataan as well as in Bauan and Mabini, Batangas.
