The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has trimmed its Philippine growth forecasts for this year and the next, citing an unexpected slowdown in the first half of 2018.

The growth outlook, however, “remains stable ... as the country’s economic fundamentals are strong,” ADB Country Director Kelly Bird said in a statement.
