Top officials of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recently met to discuss ways to strengthen their collaboration in supporting global efforts to achieve universal health coverage (UHC) and better health for their populations.
In the meeting were ADB President Takehiko Nakao, newly appointed Regional Director of WHO Western Pacific Regional Office Takeshi Kasai, and Regional Director of the WHO South East Asia Regional Office Poonam Khetrapal Singh.
