The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has been recognized by a foundation for its pursuit of lasting peace in the country.
AFP chief of staff Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr. recently received the “Kapit-Bisig” trophy from Metrobank Foundation Inc., Partner in Empowerment, Advocacy and Commitment to Excellence (Peace), for “uplifting the lives of the least in society.”
