THE people who will be part of the proposed "Duterte Death Squad" should get licenses to own firearms first from the Philippine National Police (PNP), according to Director General Oscar Albayalde on Wednesday morning.

Albayalde told a press briefing that the PNP has to make sure that members of the proposed sparrow unit to counter forces of the New People's Army (NPA) have the necessary permits to carry firearms.
