MAJORITY Leader Rolando Andaya, Jr. of the House of Representatives on Wednesday admitted to reporters that he had escaped an “assassination attempt” by a lone gunman shortly after he filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) for governor in Camarines Sur.
Andaya said the incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside the Capitol Complex in Pili Town after he filed his CoC at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office.
