ILOILO CITY: Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (PEKAF) Executive Vice President Gerald Cañete said that arnis — the Philippines' national martial art and sport — is alive and well in the Visayas region.
“It’s very good. I feel that it will grow some more. It’s very well accepted,” said Cañete, who is also serving as the tournament manager of the arnis competitions of the Batang Pinoy 2019 Visayas Qualifying Leg at the Iloilo Science and Technology University here.
