To all graduating students present here today, congratulations! Give yourselves a big round of applause. Your parents or guardians must feel relieved. And to the teachers who made that possible, I salute you! The students must applaud you even louder because through you, they have now gained more knowledge than before they entered The Manila Times College.

I am happy to see the bright, wide-eyed faces of youth about to enter the adult world of competitive labor and become productive citizens of this country.
