Atienza won’t run for mayor, to support ‘least evil’ candidate in Manila

FORMER Manila mayor Jose L. "Lito" Atienza announced that he would not run for mayor in Manila but would support the “least evil” candidate whom he did not name.

Atienza said that as much as he wanted to "revive" his hometown because of too much waste, disappearing parks and public wet markets, "mas importante ang harapin ang basura ng bansa kesa sa basura sa Manila. (It is more important to address the country's garbage than that of Manila's).
