ZAMBOANGA CITY: Two warring Yakan families in the town of Hadji Mutamad, Basilan engaged in a firefight, leaving seven dead and several others wounded, a belated police report reaching the Police Regional Office (PRO)-9 here said.
Chief Supt. Emmanuel Luis Licup, PRO 9 regional director, said involved in the feud were the Ahmad and Sahibad clans.
