ILOILO CITY: Twenty-eight gold medals are at stake in medal-rich swimming and athletics as the Batang Pinoy 2019 Visayas Qualifying Leg goes underway today at the Iloilo Sports Complex here.
A total of 2,824 in-school and out-of-school athletes aged 15 years old and below from 71 local government units will duke it out for the 1,260 medals—420 each in gold, silver and bronze—in 20 sporting events.
