DAYS after he was grilled for his alleged inappropriate behavior at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), ACTS-OFW Rep. Aniceto “John” Bertiz said on Tuesday that he would surrender his airport security pass.
“Kaya nga po sinasabi ko na kay [General Manager] Ed Monreal na ipapasurrender ko na ‘to para kasi nga, to defer, kasi I don’t want my fellow congressmen and other holders of the ID na madamay pa. (That’s why I already told GM Ed Monreal that I will surrender this, to defer its function, because I don’t want my fellow congressmen and other holders of the ID caught in this issue),” Bertiz said in a television interview.
