The country’s economic growth is now at a slower pace than earlier projected, but still relatively high at 6.1 percent for the third quarter of 2018. If we look for reasons behind the lower growth rate, one of the factors is the worsening mobility in our cities. It is a deepening crisis that we need to remedy with as much energy as we can muster. This was the subject of my presentation at The Manila Times’ 8th Business Forum this past week.
