ZAMBOANGA CITY: Troops killed two senior commanders of the pro-Islamic State (IS) group Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in fierce fighting on Saturday in North Cotabato.
Officials said one soldier was wounded in the clash that erupted in Barangay Olandang, Midsayap town where policemen, backed by Philippine Army troops, were sent to arrest wanted senior BIFF commanders.
