TWO days after the Commission on Elections (Comelec) ended the filing of candidacy for the 2019 midterm local and national polls, Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo advised the voters not to cast their ballots for “thick-faced trapos” or corrupt politicians and those who belong to political dynasties.

The bishop also warned voters against “rotten eggs” from a “good [political] party,” but to watch out for “a few jewels” from “a despised party.”
