BoC’s ‘no letter request, no interview’ policy unnecessary

Newly appointed Bureau of Customs (BoC) Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero must be advised by a good public information officer that he must provide a very valid explanation for the “no letter request, no interview” policy imposed on the media covering the agency, or lift that order immediately.

Otherwise, such move will only be seen as an unreasonable attempt by a government agency that is already perceived as the most corrupt of the lot to hide information from the Filipino people.
