THE Senate will investigate an alleged conflict of interest involving security service contracts forged between the government and a security firm owned by the family of Solicitor General Jose Calida, according to the chairman of the committee that will hold the inquiry.

“The SolGen is not exempted I will hear the blue ribbon,” Sen. Richard Gordon of the blue ribbon committee said in an interview aired over dzBB on Sunday.
