THE 45-day official campaign period set by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for local candidates ahead of the 2019 midterm elections kicks off today, Friday.
COMELEC spokesman James Jimenez said on Thursday that with the start of the local campaign, all candidates, local and national, were covered by the COMELEC’s campaign rules.
