Cancer patients can now avail of government support as the Department of Health has signed the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) for Republic Act 11215 or the “National Integrated Cancer Control Act” (NICCA) on Friday.
The law was enacted in February to provide quality health services and financial risk protection to cancer patients.
