THE Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) defended the prelate whom President Rodrigo Duterte accused of stealing Church donations and linked to illegal drug activities, saying he is a “dedicated shepherd and father to his flock in the diocese of Caloocan.”
In a statement, Davao Archbishop Romulo G. Valles, CBCP President, said Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David was “very passionate in his ministry, bringing mercy and compassion, especially to the poor and suffering among his people.”
